'You're not angry that I'm dragging you into this mess?' she asked Ysho, feeling strangely nervous.
'I'm a little annoyed, but not with you,' he answered honestly. 'I know that it's not your choice to get me involved in your family's troubles, but I don't mind helping you now that I am involved.'
Daisha scowled angrily. 'Well, I mind! You have no connection with this beyond being my friend, so what gives them the right to involve you?'
Downstairs, the sound of voices arguing fiercely heralded the arrival of Daishante's siblings. Ysho shifted to look towards the door as heavy feet began to climb the inn stairs and was startled to feel Daisha rest her hand on his head in a clear possessive and protective gesture.
'They might be dragging you into this mess, but if they want to bother you any other way, they have to go through me,' she said with icy determination. This picture was a PAIN to color (scanned it in at too high of a resolution - Again. -_-;), but I love it. The postures are great and so are the expressions. And the background turned out much better than I expected, so . . . ^_^ I love Daisha's pose especially. It very much reflects her character. :-P Plus I found a good outfit for her. Comments?
