OK here she is, redone and better than before: former Captain Krona Karagin, my novel's heroine and certainly the character I love most among all the fictional ones. Man, she's tough. On the outside, as most real tough ones have a weak spot. Life didn't treat her too friendly, she once had a better life as Captain in the Royal Guard, but she messed it up and lost her position. So now she's kind of mercenary, and not getting younger... She has a problem with trusting other people, and she has a hot and quick rising temper (which, she thinks, is other people's, but not her own, problem). She prefers giving orders instead of requesting something. She HAS to be the Boss. Beside this, she is a loyal friend, a passionate lover and can make a party go round like nobody else :o) SIDENOTE: Ever wondered where all the young and sexy female warrior chicks go when they reach a certain age (meaning over 35), that means the meantime until they reoccur as old and ugly (and sometimes wise) witches and sorceresses? Does woman have to be young and wearing a Xena-like outfit, or be old and wizened to play a role in modern fantasy? I think not. Kroona is about to enter her fifties, and she rocks. SECOND SIDENOTE: Had to delete the comments on the first picture as they don't fit this one. THANK YOU to all who commented, I took your advices to heart and worked them into this one. Sidenote: She's here for the second time. Crash victim of April 05.
