This is a picture I did as an illustration for an RPG game I'm playing in. A friend of mine (who plays a bard) is writing an epic poem to tell the story of the game, and she asked me to illustrate certain stanzas. This is of a sword for the stanza wherein her own character discovers special combat powers she seems to possess. In fact, the sword is a luck sword, and granted her wish for 'the mind of a warrior'. I consider this blade design to be one of my best weapon designs. Technically, it's supposed to be a rapier, but it doesn't look like it. Artist's Challenge: My rune doesn't appear in these minor illustrations, so don't spend too much time looking!
