‘Twas brillig and the slithy toves, did gyre and gimble in the wabe, all mimsey were the borogroves, and the momeraths outgrabe.’ I love this line from Lewis Carols “Alice in Wonderland,” it awakens so many different and vivid images. And the best part is that every person will have a different idea as to what, say, a ‘silthy tove’ actually looks like. I guess this is why I love fantasy art so much, its based in reality but lets the imagination soar. And it is so easy to take something or someone and just tweak them a bit, sprinkle a little fairy dust, and have something completely out of the ordinary.
