Dragon Emblem

Sci fi/Fantasy image by

I could see this fierce creature emblazoned on a shield. This piece was drawn in conjunction with my other piece of the same method and style, entitled 'Unipeg Emblem.' I hope to someday mat and frame them together. I drew this completely freehand, that is, I took my Sharpie pen and put it to paper, no pencil lines to be my guide! While some people find that method scary, I like to work that way...although I am generally a very clumsy person, I feel that working 'without a net' (that is, a penciled outline), keeps me on my toes and makes me think about each line. It also tests my ability to creatively hide 'mistakes!' (felt tip pen)

Flight

hope you brought your garlic...

little innocent glass vessel

This poem was written much later than Misery, but the feelings they invoke in me are so closely related that I am compelled to dub this the sequel to Misery.I really enjoyed how the sillouhette of this poem, when centered, rather resembles a little glass jar.

Ultimatum

This warning was written very early in the morning after the completion of a picture under the same title (see my elfwood gallery or my website for the work). I apologize for my insanity--I was under the influence of TOOL at the time... ^_-

It Was Like A Dream...

This tale was inspired by a dream I had...of course I attempted to make it a lil more cohesive when I wrote it, even adding an ironic twist at the end. ^_-

Nature's Beauty

Don't be lulled by the title too much...I won two diffent awards for this story...a third and a first place in two different writing contests.

Hells

This is one of the very first 'good' poems I wrote...granted, now I can write much 'better,' but it is sometimes interesting to read my oldest works which I once deemed to be my best, in order to gain a certain perspective on my advancement in my poetic abilities(besides, I still like it alot!) I wrote this one during a boring, one-sided phone conversation.

Wyngs

This is, by far, one of my favourite poems of my creation. I mark this poem as the beginning of a radical shift in my poetic interests from the macabre to the emotional. This poem is posted on Poetry.com, and was published by them in a compilation entitled 'Shades of Grey,' as well as featured in my high school yearbook my Senior year (2001).
