Curufin, fifth son of Fëanor, father of Celebrimbor, and one of my favorite characters. His name -- actually the same as the name given to Fëanor by his father -- would mean 'Crafty One.'
Tolkien probably meant 'crafty' in the older, positive sense of being skillful at a craft. But the newer meaning also works well. :)
I have thought that the Fëanorings would be somewhat wild-looking in Middle-earth, hence Curufin's unkempt shaggy-looking hair.
