Qinkis the featheres serpant was modelled closely on Quetzylcoatyl of the Aztecs. She was once worshipped as a Goddess by the mysterious Incaris people, who dwelt in a thick tropical forest where brigtly coloured animals lived. In this forest, it's said that many of the creatures are intelligent and have the ability of speach, and that those entering it, who previously couldn't talk, can.Anyway, Qinkis remains in the ruins of the Incaris city, left behind when her people left to the Sky. Unable to fly, she waits protecting a stone egg that will never hatch, hoping that her people will return. Of course, the secret to her reaching her people lies within the stone egg, but Qinkis can't figure it out. She's a rather bad tempered character, and very vain, she still sees herself as a Goddess, and so all lowly mortals are not welcome in her wood, and she'll deal with them harshly. Her tail feathers contain a deadly poison, the slightest brush up with one can infect mortal flesh. In earlier years Qinkis was good natured and kind, but on being abandoned alone and unable to reach her people, she's become bitter and untrusting towards mortals.
