Moonlit Magic

I think this is my very best Oekaki drawing yet, and certainly one of my best portraits of Magus! Anywho, the story behind this one? Magus, like me, very much dislikes organized religion, and prefers to go about all, if any, religious practices on his own. With one exception: The Damengaten Festival was a four day long festival preformed by Magus's people that celebrated the four Damengaten (literally, Master Guardians 'Damen gaten'.) (Not quite gods, but worth celebrating anyway. *winks*) 554 years after the near extinction of Magus's race, (Magus being the very last of his kind) the celebration still exists, and Magus is more than happy to participate. He sees it not only as a religious event, but also as an opportunity to honor the spirits of his people. This particular scene is during the second day of the festival, celebrating the Damengaten of the night sky (among other things), Vasher the Dragon. (Yes his robes are different. What? Did you expect him to wear the same robes all the time? ;] )
