Tricia Lancia

I have had an interest in the fantasy genre from the time I was a student studying theater.  Many of the my designs for costumes and dolls were inspired from fairytales and illustrators such as Arthur Rackham.  My interest in puppetry began when I first created masks and puppets for a theater production of " Ubu Roi".  Since then, I have made dolls and puppets, working in several mediums.  I find sculpting the most satisfying for creating my world of elves, fairies, pixies among others. Currently, my real job is designer for the home furnishings company, MacKenzie-Childs.  My dream for the future is to develop my craft, sculpting everyday, and developing  my own little fantasy world of "Poppenmoon".
