This is the second rendition of my Earth Elemental. Once more, I never got any further than Earth and Fire (although fire isn't hopelessly crappy this time). This one is done in pencil, not pen. And I personally think it came out rather well. Just so you know: His right arm (the one on the left) is there. It's just badly foreshortened. I've only just worked out foreshortening for people, and this was drawn nearly a year ago, and he's made of rocks. I could prolly do it now, but I couldn't really then. Do I sense an Earth Elemental mk III coming? Perhaps... Perhaps I do.
The text at the bottom is part of the aborted storyline that spawned these guys. It reads thus:
'The Earth Stone was bequeathed to the kingdom of Dim Baluk, a great realm built into the very bones of the Vespic Mountains, far in the West. The king, who was well-loved, temperate, and wise, had it set into an ornate pendant of mithril, blacked steel, and the famed green gold of Dim Baluk. His line wore this pendant for many hundreds of years, and with it, power over the very earth beneath their feet and over their heads.'
