This is a reimagining of a character that I played in a friends fantasy campaign a while back. He is a barbarian that uses a hammer for almost anything from opening doors to fighting to cutting down trees......yes, he attepted this. His favorite phrase was, "knock it down", which he used as an answer for everything. He weilded a magical hammer that was imbued with the power of lightening, I tried to portray this a little bit in the hammer style. He thought that it was a gift from Thor, because he aquired it on a particilarly rainy day and when lightning crashed nearby he was struck in the head from the hammer...which he had thought travelled from the heaven on the back of the lightnening bolt when Thor cast it aside from his forge. In all actuality a intense battle was happening nearby and the commander of the army, which was weilding this hammer, was blasted by a fireball. Which the explosion in turn sent his hammer flying miles away and onto the head of my wandering barbarian. This one in a million chance encounter shaped this characters life from then on, thinking the hammer was the answer to most of life problems.
