His Eyes Were Watching Mine

This piece was completed for the Masquerade contest here on Elfwood. "As her lithe form glided through the ballroom, past the guests clad in shimmering fabrics and fantastical masks, she could not help but feel as if someone were following her, watching her. Though she was beautiful, even for her species, the hall was full of other women far more appealing than she. Slinking along the wall, she pulled her violet mask off, determined to find her stalker. Her eyes slide across the massive crowd, the shadows cast by the moving bodies amongst the giant flames seemingly pulling towards her, collecting around her in a thick gray cloak. She attempted to break free, stepping forward from the wall and back into the crowd. As she finally beat her way from the shadowy claws she saw him, the devil who's eyes were watching her. With a fleeting glance she spun around, her golden gown fluttering around her long legs, and she bolted from the room, pushing her way through the gathered guests, ignoring that she didn't even disrupt their merriment. She had caught the attention of a vampire and there was no way she would ever be able to escape his gaze again."Done on watercolor paper with Prismacolor markers, ballpoint ben, Micron pens, white gel pen, and charcoal.

True Love?

Poem written for current Elfwood contest. When somebody says the word "love" to me, I automatically think of vampires and hearts being ripped out and devoured. Does that make me weird? In this poem a person is experiencing the love of a creature of the night, but is it love on both ends?

If Walls Could Speak

This is a short story originally written during freshman year of high school. We had to write a horror story. I decided to do mine on like a CLUE crossover kinda thing. We have a group of people invited to a house by their friends, but end up being misslead. Then they start to mysteriously die, one by one. Spoiler alert....the house does it.
