Once there was a young girl, she was a poor girl stealing for a living she never stole what she didn't need, but one day something caught her eye, a hair barrette like a flower, she loved it, being sold by a merchant with more trinkets than he could possibly keep his eye on, walking by looking back and forth she watched looked at her surroundings she looked like she was shopping, she grabbed it and slipped it into her pocket and walked off. She wore it in her hair everyday though it looked out of place with her torn clothes she didn't care. She began to get sick, like all the others who owned it before her, it was subtle at first, coughing nothing much. But the coughing became harder, and harder until she began to cough up blood, she hadn't the slightest idea that it was the cursed hair-clip she always wore. It got worse and worse, till she could no longer move, she no longer cried tears but blood instead, when the day was hot and she would sweat it was blood, she laid in her bed made of a blanket over hay, laying in the heat she slowly bleed to death, her last thoughts on the pain. One day a young man walked into the small 'house' she lived in, seeing her dead he was recoile in disgust as she had been dead a few day about to hurry out, he saw the hairclip it was beautiful, something is lover would like, something that would make her happy. He stood there for what seemed an eternity before he quickly reached down and pulled it from her hair and ran out as fast as he could hoping to leave the memory far behind him. It is made of clay and painted with acrylic paints, I slipped and scored the petals that I cut seperately from the center of the flower, there are two layers of petals. I used a hot glue gun to attach the barrette to the flower it's self.
