Dossouye in the Forest of Masks Dossouye is a story character by Charles R. Saunders. Her stories were published in Marion Zimmer Bradley's Fantasy anthology series 'Sword and Sorceress' in the 80s. She is an Ahosi, a warrior in the army of the Leopard King. I always liked this character, so I decided to try and do a portrait. I realized later she looks rather androgynous but I like her still. And she was supposed to wear a leather helmet but I totally ruined it, so now she has her own pretty hair. The masks were described in the story 'Shimenege's mask' in vol. #2 of the series but I put them into a new setting. Done in Paint Shop Pro from Scratch.
