This is my druid Rhosyn as a child. She grew up in a little fishing village. Unfortunately, she wasn't a very charming child, and so she used to play on the beach alone. Right now, she's carrying her 'catch' back home - a collection of sea shells, stones and feathers. Rhosyn always had that right touch for animals, and cat became her fylgie later. A fylgie is something like a totem, and as a druid, Rhosyn learned how to change her shape into that of a cat when she was in her 20s. I've added the cat as sort of a harbinger symbol. The pic did not exactly turn out like I first planned it, but I am happy with it none the less. I wanted to make her look solemn (just learned that word from someone who commented on my pics *g*) and distrustful, without giving her a desperate expression, and I wanted to avoid too much cuteness. It's also my first trial to draw without any reference for proportions or shadowing. Let me know whether I've succeeded or not!
