This is a Puritan hero in the works of Robert E. Howard. Solomon Kane was a strange, mysterious religious warrior whom this writer made to combat evil and other silly things like that. He holds a rapier and is surrounded by warbled backgrounds and colonial homes. If one has ever traversed old New England towns they would surely know the spooky aspect of this historic approach. One cannot help but feel reverence for this bizarre fighter, as his black hat devours the moonlight that drowns the landscape.
