Sensitive and hating violence, but facing an unforgiving world, male Lynnellfi are raised to live a facade. Only human fear keeps them from killing Lynnellfi whem the two races come together to trade. The Lynnellfi are only all too happy to feed this fear: it is the only weapon of this physically weak race. From an early age, Lynnellfi youth are abused and goaded by their elders, steeling their souls against the hardships of the world. They are punished when they show weakness, and rewarded when they embrace anger. By the time a Lynnellfi male reaches maturity, he is a stranger to the females of his race. From many tears and much blood emerges a cold-hearted, brutal pragmatist who thinks much and speaks little. When he does speak, his words communicate only the bare minimum necessitated by the situation. Born kind and outgoing, raised to be antisocial, Lynnellfi males live in a web of facades and forced truths. Perhaps under these shields of lies remain the true hearts of Lynnellfi, but they would never admit it--neither to others, nor to themselves.
