Quetzalcoatl

Done some 20+ years ago, but after the 'Owl', this is also done in felt-tip pen and rapidograph. It represents my seeing harmony between the basic foundations of the many philosophical and religious beliefs amongst the peoples of our world, especially between East and West, and Old World and New World. The legend of Quetzalcoatl of the Aztecs comes from the earlier Kulkulkan of the Maya, and he did away with animal and human sacrifice, teaching peace and to give flowers and fruits instead.*This image upgraded 1-31-03*
