Triple Goddess

The first of two pictures done for Rebecca Carr as an art trade based on the Triple Goddess. I just wasn't happy with this one, which is why I went on to do The Morrigan and Cu Chullain. She did such a beautiful picture for me! They were supposed to be portraits, but I had NOTHING to work from- so my psychic impression of Rebecca is the Maid, on the left of the picture. In the centre, the mother, and on the right the crone. It also took forever, as you might be able to just make out all the tiny dots done in ink, before the pastel colouring. Never again! Ink, pastels, and darkened a little on Photoshop.

This song used to be all 'la dee da, I'm so evil', but I've now re-written it completely to give the audience an insight into her motivations. Once all she wanted was revenge, now everything she does is for her son, Mordred...

This is a short poem that I wrote in character and read as a eulogy at my character's Sister's funeral. I wept. The illustration shows Ria carrying the body of her sister, Nesti, out in daylight from the orc caverns in which they were imprisoned, and down into the safety of the grove below, which becomes Nesti's final resting place...
