This field drake sleeps on a forest floor. I drew this drake one day when I was bored, and I wanted to show a dragon sleeping(drake in this case by my own definition of the word - being dragon in form but much smaller than the typical dragon). I don't have any art supplies so unfortunately I have to draw with a #2 pencil. Field drakes (such as this one) have been known to be tamed for riding mounts. They are more difficult to train than most other mythical creatures (that can be ridden), but serve well in the service of their master. They are smarter than most animals, and are capable of understanding a single language (usually that of their master).
