Ederic strode cautiously across the barren landscape, whose only inhabitants seemed to be jagged rocks and rivers of fire. Perhaps the rumours were untrue? Maybe these so called "ember titans" were just stuff of legend after all. Mountain dwelling giants who could emit searing flames from their very bodies, which would reduce any man to a mere cinder unless he had a fire resistance rivaling the titan's own. Reminiscing about these old tales and warnings, Ederic started to regret coming here, in his search for a worthy opponent. His feelings of regret quickly faded however, as the ground beneath his feet began to shake and split open. Fear was the feeling that now embodied his entire soul. The titan rose above him and he felt as though he'd been instantly robbed of what little sanity he had left. An insignificant theft however, as the titans mighty swing shattered his entire being.
