While not exactly evil, the spirit of Jumpin' Jack punish anyone who do not respect the Scarecrow, bringing madness and dispair to those who mock a Scarecrow possessed by him. And he is a touchy spirit as well. This scene was caused by a couple of young men foolish enough to throw rocks at a scarecrow on the night of Spirits. As soon as they returned to their town, they were overcome by madness and paranoia, and as the curse grew stronger, so did their rage against a unseen enemy. Soon, the whole town was in chaos as the boys tried to drive out the ghosts of their mind with fire. The next morning, the boys met their end in the snare when the townsfolk finally cought them, hanging them from the neck in the highest tree they could find.
