A drawing inspired by the same titled poem by ... oh I can't remember his name. I'm supposed to be studying him and I can't remember his name!! Anyways, Tithonus was a character from Greek mythology who fell in love with Aurora, the ever-running Goddess of the Dawn. For the love of Tithonus, Aurora begged the Gods to grant him eternal life so that they may be together always. In her negligence, she omitted to grant her love eternal youth, so Tithonus was doomed to wonder the Earth for all eternity, always aging. Not a soul could help him - for what the Gods give, they cannot take back. In the picture, I tried to put the weariness in Tithonus' eyes. And random lines all over his face to make him look old!
