The King of Motown, Berry Gordy, produced this movie in 1985. It was directed by Michael Schultz (who directed the 1978 film “SGT Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band” , based on the Beatles album of the same name), written by Louis Venosta (who also wrote the Goldie Hawn film “Bird on a Wire”). It stars Taimak as “Bruce” Leroy Green, an avid martial arts student in search of a sublime force known as “The Glow”.
