Sequels seem to be breaking out of the stereotype of being not worth your time or money unless you're a diehard fan. X2 opens with a startling attack on the President, committed by a mutant new to the movie incarnation of X-Men, and certainly new to the puzzled "teachers" at Charles Xavier's School for Gifted Children.

Because I am very poor, this review had to wait until I could find a cheap, secondhand edition, and so I am basing this review on the Warner Paperback Library 1970 edition, which I managed to purchase for the bargain price of sixty cents US from a bookshop in Melbourne, Australia.

I actually picked up the Nocturnals mostly as a whim. I’d browsed through it before and I liked what I saw. The whole graphic novel wasn’t drawn so much as it was painted, and the whole thing was gorgeous. If nothing else, it was certainly a departure from your typical superhero thing.

MyComicsPage.com has 93 daily comics, including many favorites such as Garfield, Calvin and Hobbes, Doonesbury, Cathy, and the Wizard of Id, as well as many, many more. There are also 36 editorial comics, which are typically black and white political cartoons and two animations. Given that these comics are usually published daily, it's a lot of content.

I’ve never been really interested in the Metroid series. Yes, I know it’s supposedly one of the best series ever to grace the gaming world, but it always seemed too much trouble for me, much in the same way the Megaman/Rockman series was: hold down attack button, wall jump, air dash, climb wall, and fire…. NOW!
