When I saw the trailer for Underworld I knew it was definitely something I wanted to see at least once, if for no other reason than to see Kate Beckinsale in a black leather cat suit.

Metropolis has been hailed by critics as one of the greatest movies of all time. Despite portions of the film being lost forever, it has endured as a science fiction classic.

After reading one or two reviews trashing Brad Pitt's portrayal of Sinbad, I went to watch this expecting him to be crap. The reviewers were wrong. The crap factor wasn't limited to one voice actor. Can we have the real voice actors back in feature animation? Pretty please?

There are two schools of thought on FLCL. The first one is that the good folks down at Gainax studios have collectively lost their minds and have stopped even pretending to be sane. The second one is that FLCL is the coolest thing that happened to Anime since… who knows what. If you can’t tell, I belong to the latter category, and even I think they’re insane.

The trailer for Kill Bill showed glimpses of Uma Thurman and Lucy Liu swordfighting in a Quentin Tarantino movie... My first reaction was "Yummy!" I knew it would probably be good, but it just simply blew me away.
