In case you couldn't tell by looking at the article titles this month, here at Woodworks we're feeling a little... odd. Our theme is Macabre and we feel we've at least accomplished a small amount in that area.

Naturally the theme is fitting with Halloween this month. Considering our close attachments to things not of this world, it's no wonder that Halloween is a favorite holiday around here. After all, how could a holiday where you dress up in costumes and attempt to scare people, all while getting candy not be enjoyable?

Speaking of, we hope you enjoy the issue this month. Download the amazing cover art for a wallpaper, read about poisons (no practical uses, please!), or check out a disturbing Flash Fairy Tale. And don't forget the reviews - or the rest of the zine, for that matter.

Happy Haunting!

Megan Larson,
Editor
