In the past few years, the powers-that-be in the movie industry have decided that what we all need is more zombie and slasher movies, spewing forth such gems as Resident Evil: Apocalypse and Dawn of the Dead. While such movies are typically mock-worthy on their own (Return of the Living Dead, Part 3, anyone?), Shaun of the Dead adds its own humor to the mix.

Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow is a modern tribute to the sci-fi movies and comic books of the 1930's and 40's. Not only does it use many story conventions familiar to fans of that era, but the director also chose to utilize many of the same filming techniques, the most immediately evident being the soft focus and lighting.

Casshern. If you have heard of this movie, then you probably heard about it through the final trailer release. That trailer was the epitome of perfection; it hyped everyone up, despite being in Japanese.
