	Watercolor on Watercolor board. I had a dream about this image, so I had to wake up and paint it. I'm rather pleased with it, and I liked the idea of comparing fairies to butterflies.

9 Nov 2006	Imola L Saraine aka Mio	Loading... Almost perfect. Colouring and shading is flawless, the background fits the theme perfectly. Skin tone is amazing, as well as her facial expression. Although I do like the colouring and the material of the cocoon a lot, I do not see how this would be able to hold a half hatched fairy, I mean, she does have some weight, which would make the strings of the cocoon more stretched or there would be another branch needed that supports the cocoon. I am also unsatisfied with the way the hair folds, because there is a U turn in the hair I can not really explain the reason of. Still my impression of it is: breathtakingly soft and intimate.
