| 17 Oct 2007 | David Michael | Loading...For all the low-grade poetry I wade through here on Elfwood and elsewhere (much of it my own!), it's quite a relief to read something as smooth and masterful as this. Your rhyme scheme is impressive, and quite effective. The sonorous rhythm kept me reading, and I could see the City rising up around me, through the misty deeps of the sea. Thank you for that vision, it was quite welcome. | |

| 5 Jun 2008 | K.J. Rowell | Loading...Someone has a black bowler hat? Where?! Hehe...I love those things... Aaaanyways, I really loved your poem. There is Atlantis-fever running around Elfwood and I really can’t see why it hasn’t happened BEFORE (because it’s so awesome!), but this poem and your writing style is unique, and that’s nice to see. A lot of people kind of steal other people’s ways of writing things and think no one will notice their lack of otherwise self-wit, but I NOTICE... Beware all literature-technique stealers, I WILL call you out!! BEWARE!!! (Okay, was it just me, or did that echo?Hmm... ) | |
