That is a wonderful poem. As I read it it flowed perfectly, and I felt a great deal of pity for Merlin (hopefully the real Merlin cannot sense me pitying him, or else I may have an angry wizard on my hands).

Mm. I like this.
Comical incidents of mismanaged magic... but then I’m forced back to the heart of the matter. This is no buffoon, but a great man, aging and fading and lonely.
And even Arthur has left him. Surely, if not for spells, the king could visit his old friend and mentor to give him company?
