Toni C Cogdell

Toni is an artist with a huge passion for Faery and Fantasy. She runs FaeryClan to house her Fae creations.

I have 'made art' in its various forms for as long as I can remember and I have believed in Faeries for longer. After following a Fine Art path and gaining a BA Hons Degree in Art I worked as a 'human' portrait artist, but soon the need to explore the sight of my third eye became too strong and pointy ears and wings began to appear. In 2006 my path veered more towards this genre and at the beginning of 2007 I launched FaeryClan. I work in Mixed Media - that's the best way to describe it. Depending on the nature of the piece I use watercolour, acrylics, inks, graphite pencils, coloured pencils, inks and oil paints, many being a mixture of these. I have a queue of Fae creatures in my head waiting to be captured on paper/canvas and as an artist I am always striving to express them in the best way possible - I have a long way to go on my path but I'm loving every minute.

All your paintings are looking fabulous and they’re so inspiring! I feel my head brimming with ideas for lives they’ve lead, good job my dear! I think shadow walker is fabulous, especially the wolf being her Earth Walker and the Raven being her Sky Dweller. Hope to see you sometime, but keep up the gorgeous work! xxx
