I like doing animations, even tho I don't take my time to make 'em very often. I made this one after I'd discovered there are more people on Elfwood doing animations. :)

This one consist of around 13 frames I think, and I made it using my li'l light box. The frames are put together in Animation Shop 2.

Darn how the heck did you do that?!- Err, well let's see... Bear in mind that I'm no proffetional animator, I'm barely an amateur one. ^^; So forgive me if some is/sounds messed up. I used a lighttable/lightbox when I made this.There's (at least?) two ways to animate; either you draw keyframes and then inbetween them to smoothen the motion, or you just draw all of the motion/inbetweens right away without keyframing first. I'm not entirely sure what a keyframe exactly is, but if you look at my Saria above, two of the keyframes would be the very first drawing of the animation (her profile one) and then the other when her spin has just ended (right before she dips her head down). The inbetweening would be the motion you draw between those two drawings.I don't remember which technique I used for this one, but I think I tried to draw some keyframes. o.O;
When all the drawings were finished I scanned them and put them together in Animation Shop 2.

Odd. I thought I left a comment on this picture. Anyway, this animation is so fluid... and it's of Saria. (glomp) What an awesome idea! I so wish I can find another animation of Saria...

Wow! My favorite thing about this animation is that the picture doesn't become distorted as it moves. The lines and forms remain intact, instead of her face getting skewed or off-center. It's a HARD thing to do in animations, so kudos to you!

I love you!!

This is absolutely wonderful! Not only because it is animated (which is super cool by the way), but because it actually LOOKS like Saria! You can totally tell that it is Saria and not just some elf girl with a headband like some other pictures I have seen. You did a fabulous job.
