'Now the cold wind blows out my Candles' ... 'Slowly they die away at every candle's end'. When I received this request I didn't quite know what to do with it, so I started with a portrait and a lot of candles, since they dominate the song. 'The Candle burns in the Womb'.. Well, how was I supposed to draw it? I took the fire of the candle out the womb and I put it into her hand, so there : Problem solved :) I wanted to do something different with the background this time, so I chose for a closed background instead of an open. The wall was a pain to draw but it added a nice, cold effect to the picture. 'A million fallen stars..' Sorry, couldn't draw so many ;) Two instead, but I don't like them very much. At least you can see it's something in the air with a long tail so perhaps you might've figured it out yourself.. ;) Drawn for Martijn, keyboard player. He still owes me a picture of this drawing, hanging to his wall :)
