'Dark Wings', a Within Temptation song, is powerful.. 'Why was I one of the chosen ones?' The varying parts makes the song one of my favorites of the latest album.. from hard rock to soft words.. beautiful. This time, I let a few lines inspire me.. 'Don't you die on me, You haven't made your peace.. Live life, breathe breathe!' is the first , and also 'Dark Wings they are descending', both from the chorus. And the line 'As they took your soul away, the night turned into the day' made a deep impression , so I thought I might as well use that for the background :)

Unfortunately, my scanner decided to be an ass, so the different shades of purple have faded into a blurry mess at some spots... Photoshop couldn't get it right :/ Oh well. I like it anyway.
