SciFi and Fantasy Art Mother Earth, a Tribute to Within Temptation by Linda Aarts

A tribute to my favorite band. Their Rock/Metal/Gothic/Symphonic sounds have inspired me in the past, and they did it once more...

This is Mother Earth, my third visualisation for this band. Mother Earth is the creator of all that is around us. 'Birds and Butterflies, Rivers and Mountains she creates, but you'll never know, the next move she'll make.' Because 'She goes her own way.'

She rules until the end of time, she gives and she takes. With every breath, and all the choices that we make, we're only passing through on her way.'

I'm often not satisfied about my work, but I like this a lot. I like the way she seems to beam and has this magic air around her. Well, actually I like everything except for the thick lines around the trees :( Oh well. Done with markers and Karisma pencils.

Its very hard, to me anyways, drawing people with their heads turned up like that,and you did an awesome job. i only have one critisism: i think you should have used some browns, and maybe blues in the picture as well as green. overall, the feeling of it is nice.

I love within temptation and funny anofe i did a pic like this and ivan more funnyer it looks like one of my pics and it looks like her wid da trees and it got inspired by the song pale that within temptation dose to ...i couldnt bielive my eyes when i sore that i was like...omg its just like mine only much better!^_^ awesome work !
