My name is Abby and have been drawing ever since I was three or four years old.  The first thingsI drew had no relation whatsoever to dragons and unicorns...  they were more like sunshines.   Even after that they were plain old animals. When I got into third grade I finally started thinking about unicorns and eventually dragons.  Little by little I started drawing better and better fantasy creatures, and now that I'm old enought to enter elfwood, I hope that my artwork will be good enough for people to look at and say, "She has potential" or "With a little practice, these could turn out to be something."  I have a drawing book that is almost filled up with my fantasy drawings, although some of them I wouldn't dare put up here!  I mostly draw dragons or unicorns, but after I get better, a range of things may poke their heads into my gallery for time.  Nothing inspires me more than a good work of art.  It makes me run for my pencil and paper to try make a good drawing myself.  Sometimes, though, I just start to draw.   I want to be a childrens books illustrator someday, so I figured elfwood would be a good place to start.  Wish me luck on the long journey on which I am about to embark! (Not literally, but... It might be like a journey in a sense... :) )
