| 8 Mar 2003 | Anonymous | YOu should try actually painting your own stuff instead of stealing other artist's work. Get a life | |
| 25 Oct 2004 | Allyson | Unicorn in Winter was the most beautiful drawing of a unicorn I've ever seen I love it. Leslye A. Ward replies: "Thank you so much for your kind comment. Thanks to the coward 'Anonymous' above, Unicorn In Winter is to be removed. Said I copied it, I KNOW I didn't but I did use a photograph from a book for visual reference and so the IRB says that means 'copying'. Actually, I'm tired of defending this from narrow-minded people who think they know everything. These same people would have condemed Andy Warhol for his Campbell Soup and Marilyn Monroe images! I should have used a different position and not one that is so common to Andulusian horses. That made my unicorn simuliar to so many others. But my image has been on Elfwood for eight years now and has probably been downloaded and copied by many others. I have sold this image and so should probably have removed it myself before this as it became a 'professional' piece. Again, thank you so much for your comment. Leslye A. Ward" | |
| 29 Jan 2005 | katie | Beautiful just beautiful horses love them i am a horse drawer myself !!!!!!!I have been drawing since i could put a crayon in my hand !!!!!!!! | |
| 4 Feb 2005 | Melissa | Why does ERB always remove the one that I want to see first out of all the others? Freaks!!! Leslye A. Ward replies: "erb said that I copied. I used a photo from an old book as a reference and they said that was copying! So they have spoken and they have removed, it matters not what I say." | |
| 2 Jan 2006 | Jennifer Lynn Nelson | Why is it that Elfwood seems to remove genuine art that is actually beautiful and obvioulsy an origional drawing, I am sure you all know what picture I mean, but they allow crap? I won't even start on how many of my stories have been removed from my library for simple reasons. But unicorn in winter was absoultly brill and now it is gone | |
