Eternity Circle was my first time ever working with metal. The Structure of the Phoenix was soldered wire attached to a wooden base. Each feather was individually cut from sheet metal and then sewn onto the wings useing thin metal wire. All in all this piece took about two months of work and was far outside my comfort zone. It is named eternity circle after the idea of the Ouroboros, or the dragon eating itself creating a circle. I Thought that a Phoenix was a much better choice because of its constant death/rebirth cycle.
