SciFi and Fantasy Art Demai Experimental Ship by Sam ´AcidK´ Read

The Demai, a small cat-like race, designed an experimental ship that soon became legendary throughout the Remnant Era. These ships had little sheilding or armour, however they compensated by having a Kylithium-powered bio-technic 'wheel' on the front of the ship. This bio-technological 'wheel' had three major functions. Firstly it could place an extremely tough sheild in front of the ship, stopping even the most hardened superweapons from ripping the ship apart. They could connect with other Demai Experimental ships to create a sheilding wall, with equal if not stronger toughness than the normal sheilding function. Finally the 'wheel' can erupt a one-shot blast directly in front of itself, sending the ship's systems into anarchy but causing a blast equal to planet-crushing lasers. Made in Bryce 5.

6 Dec 2007	Martyn J. Flatt	Loading... As a fellow Bryce user i am extremely curious as to how you created the background in this pic. The effect is astonishing! I have had difficulty creating the impression of warp travel without resorting to sticking a photoshoped picture on a square behind the ship. Sam ´AcidK´ Read replies: "For bryce there is a much simpler way of creating such an effect. Place a cylander around the ship (so the ship is in it's centre), place a cosmic effect (nebula, for example) and stretch the ends of the cylander until you get the effect you require. Note that camera placement is crucial, as an elongated nebula effect can cause CPU lag."
