This painting ate my life for nearly a week. I originally wanted to do a phoenix-fire theme, and Valance volunteered for the part, but it turned into a sunset along the way (which I like better). It gave me a change to practice with water and backlighting, two things I've had endless trouble with in the past. The result came out surprisingly well, though Valance doesn't deserve the attention. *whaps him*

i love the wings to. i love that there is a difference in the styles of art seeing styles of one person to anothers persons. i saw wings earlier that were fantastic and now i see them again still fantastic but done in a different style.
