War is a harsh thing; it can strengthen friendships or break them forever. A scene from my fantasy books drawn back in 2002...heh, a lot of my older work seems to be more tragic and violent, doesn't it? ^_^; The shading style was kept very rough and loose to try and convey the emotion better. The hint of wings is symbolic, as Faeren was the last comfort Jason knew.
