This is so original, Jeroen, I really like it. I'll keep looking through the other pictures in your gallery. I love it when an artist has enough talent to draw from his own mind instead of mimicking someone else's. Lovely!

When I saw this, it reminded me immediately of an ode to candles that I had written for an English class some years ago. I had been thanking the candles for giving their lives so that I may have their light. I never have looked at candles the quite the same way since then and it was interesting to see another person's take on their demise.

This reminds me of this little book i used to have about a dinner candle..and it was really sad because the women had a dinner party and put him on the table, but forgot to blow him out...and he looks in the mirror and sees he’s all melted ! 8
