SciFi and Fantasy Art Crimson Nymph by Amanda ´AJ´ James

I did this for a contest on Elftown, and for a friend. ^_^ The picture is fashioned after her Elftown name. I added the blood red roses as a special touch for her. ;3 I had a LOT of fun doing this one. I also tried out a lot of new things that I hadn't worked with much. The liquid ripples were new to me, as was the rose bush in the back. I hadn't been doing my leaf practice until now. ;3 I agree that the nose is a bit pronounced. I think that comes from drawing anthros for so long. X3

Ya know. I was just looking at this and Alice in Wonderland, the animation, popped into my head. The little scene where she's painting the Queen of Hearts' roses red. X3 Gah! Now I've got the song in my head. XP

I figure I need to say this since it's my first update since the art thief incident. I want to point out, for my thief 'Paine', that I shrank this picture. I have a bigger, better quality version. Don't steal. If you do, your arse will be in court. Quickly. ;3 Everyone else...enjoy! :D

3 Apr 2009	River Tree	Loading... Amazing! This pick is one of my two favorite that you have done! I love the roses and the sky in the background, all the attention to detail really makes it amazing. I love how everything in the scene drops a subtle clue as to the emotions and feelings of the nymph. Hinting at everything and revealing nothing. One comment and question. You seem to leave out nipples on all of your drawings and just make the breasts, is their a specific reason for this? Thanks. I am a very good writer and I can simply picture how I could portray this scene. Is it ok if I write about this scene in a fantasy book I’m working on? Anyways great pick and keep drawing.
