Averil Tincolindo White

Averil is currently a student, specialising in English Literature. She loves writing about fantasy and myth, and gleans a lot of creativity from her muse (who also happens to be her Goddess), Brighid.

I love fantasy, especially Historical Fantasy. Most of my writing is inspired by celtic myths and legends, and sword and sorcery novels like LOTR. I think my favourite writers are Tolkien, Wilbur Smith, Anne Caffery, Phillipa Gregory, Marion Zimmer Bradley....oh, too many to count.... I don't really have any favourite poets or authors - I just read what I like. I'm currently a student studying English Literature at York St. John university, in the UK. I'm 20 years old, and still unsure about what I want to be when I grow up. I'm a historical re-enactor with the Society of Creative Anachronism (SCA), and I do far too much.

I dunno if you've met any of York's Medieval Soc people (who are also involved with the SCA) but I used to be one of them.
