Amanda J. Ellis

Amanda can be quite an interesting character, once you get past her scary side, that is...
Well, now I'm here!!! Wonderful! So, let me introduce myself. I'm a university student, trying to get a bachelors in Paleontology, and also very much in love with writing. I love it! I can't seem to write enough. I mean, I love science, but there isn't as much of a story to it. Well, there is in a sense, but not like this. So, I write. It releaves my stress and it gives me something creative to do. Wow. I really don't know what to write here. I suppose I can tell you all why I like to write fantasy. Yes, I suppose I could tell you that. Well, it all comes down to the first time someone really hooked me on fantasy. Which was a few summers ago. One of my friends started me on the Mercedes Lackey series, and twenty some books later I was so hooked there was no way for me to stop reading fantasy. Since then I've been reading so much, but also writing it myself. You see, I also have a creative streak, and I love to put my ideas down on paper in the form of stories. Some people like them, and some don't. Which, in reality, is all anyone can expect. I just hope that there will be a few people here who like my writing. I should really stop rambling now. Alright, on to uploading stories!

Well, Amanda, you are quite skilled. I just finished Peregryne's Story, and now I'm starting on Echoes. I'm fairly excited, too. Your characters have depth, even though there wasn't enought time/space to elaborate on it. If P.Story was a full novel (or anything other than internet published), it would have been a lot different. I can see that, because I have the same issues with my writing. Anywho, keep at it. Your skills are apparent, and increase with every piece of work. PEACE!

Hmm. At this point, my previous comment shows on the "Comment Edit" page, but not on the main page, itself. Odd. In any case, I just read Echoes. It seems to read almost like a diary. The main points are hit, with some dialogue, but without a lot of elaboration on the specifics. Is this what you were going for? If so, it's very well done. Not what I'd expected - for P.Story or Echoes; they were similar in that respect - but entertaining, nevertheless. Overall, you did a very good job thus far. (I throw in the "thus far" in hopes of motivating future chapters.)

Please, you simply must continue your story about the Peregryne...

I love your Echoes of the chosen stories. You have amazing character depth and I love the way you just add enough tidbits about the chosen and stuff for the readers to understand. I can't wait for the rest of the story please keep it up.

Hey, I love your Echoes of the Chosen stories! When is the next part coming? I'm dying to read the next part. I was reading your bio and saw You liked Mercedes Lackey's Stories, and I have to say, I love them too. Which is your favourite one? Update soon!

knock knock knock is any body home there a lot people here that love your EotC series and would love for you to write more and most important one of all is me. Hey, I dont want to sound mean and come off the wrong way. I just really love your stories and i love the untitled ones to. You know it’s a very hard story to think of a title for and i was thinking some thing like "Espoir Invisible" (Unseen Hope) or Peregrine’s Cry (Cri Pérégrin) ( a lot of the stories I write have a different language especially French and Spanish if they sound right) but those don’t sound right, I need 2 give more thought on it, this is way to good of a story, 2 not have a name for it. Well n-e ways you are a very good writer and you should keep up the good work. 

P.S. I was wondering in the beginning of your stories you have body, does that mean that in your later editions she’ll have a mind and soul part too?

Woah. Dude, not cool. I need to read the rest. I'm so totally hooked. You're Echoes of the Chosen... wow. I can't believe how amazingly amazing you are. The death day one was cool too, albeit unnerving. You have a beautiful talent. I hope to be able to write as originally and as exceptionally as you. I'm, obviously not speechless, but in awe more than that.

Echoes of the Chosen. What can I say? It was just... amazing. I almost cried reading it, just because it was so wonderful. Please, please please please write more. I have to know what happens. Echoes of the Chosen is just... I'm running out of words that mean "great". Thank you so much for gracing Elfwood with your beautiful stories. Also, congratulations on getting Mod's choice. You deserve it.
