Done strictly with one mechanical pencil and no rulers, because nothing in nature is truly straight. The front wall and some of the front buildings were modelled after another person's picture and if I knew his or her name I would credit them.

I don't believe it. The depth percetion scale HAS to be done with a ruler. I can never make a line that straight without a ruler... let alone do the whole picture that way. Gah. This is great. I would love to see it colored now! 1

The details and the perspective are great!.. Really it is very a hard thing to place the buildings with correct perspective from such a point of view but in this picture i can see no problems at all.. a great work!..

:-) Aaron B. Foote replies: "Ug - no kidding! Though I do spot a few perspective errors now that you mention it - but I will let you guys find them. 10"

Hey! You are patient all those bricks and without a ruler as well. I don't draw townscapes but I do like to draw landscapes for some of my pictures. Those buildings look very English, or do you know of another country where they make them like that?

:-) Aaron B. Foote replies: "Thanks - I cant think of any country with buildings like this other than England but I wasn't really using a reference when I drew them."

Ack, millions of little bricks and wood grains! Fantastic detail, looks beautiful. Looks like a town that I wouldn't mind living in.

What can I say? you have a very well 3dimentional skill! It's a great job but you can improve! Keep on drawing you'll make marvelous things!
