I chose the color Rose Madder for the feeling of angry disbelief (I hope) the picture eminates. I tried to show the torment a were-dragon goes through when shifting from one body to the next. Please tell me what you think, I haven't had the chance before to paint a dragon, and this one sorta fell outta my brush.

I think some of that really does emanate from the picture... Brings out a feeling of... something trying to break free. It's like the strong lines combined with that misty, blurry feel... =)

Mmm-hmmm, I like the movement, I think you've captured the anguished feel of body-shifting very well. The choise of color is very good too. Only, perhaps a stronger color for the background would've made the whole feel more powerful, bright orange maybe?

I am a were-dragon, you do not feel torment when you shift. It is a quick sub-contiouse shift with maybe a little dizziness as you are letting it come out. You go totally uncontiouse and your other side takes over with whatever super-human abilities it may have. You also do no physical change except for unseen ones as eye change and slight increase in size. This piture is actually idiotic to me as a mid-phisical shift would look nothing like this.

:-) Amber G. Mangrum replies: "I'm sorry, but it would seem to me that a REAL 'were-dragon' would at least know how to spell. It's not 'uncontiouse', it's unconscious. It's also 'picture', not piture. Physical, (you even wrote it correctly once!) not phisical. Get yourself a dictionary, Dan Quayle, and come back when you can type something with ALL the words spelled right. That's a good boy! "

1 Amber G. Mangrum replies: "Thanks! What I actually did was drip red paint on the paper and watched what came up...TADA! A dragon!"

3 Amber G. Mangrum replies: "Sorry, it's a genetics thing. I'm only nice to people who know how to spell, or at least try. (peice?)"

Well, needless to say, I like the use of red for the dragon. I think it portrays the emotion you were getting at well, as well as the overall form of the weredragon. Also, If I did believe in creatures such as werewolves, I doubt they'd be people openly claiming what they were over the internet.

I like it, but it seems like it was painted on a napkin

This is really good (stands up and prepares to fight for comment) the pose is good and the idea is great. A small hint that might help is that once dry you could, using inks or even charcol add in small details and shadding. but it's up to you. Keep up the work.
