I think I'd agree with you. The green shading was nicely done. For some reason, though, I think the black pupil should be slightly larger. Could just be my eyes playing tricks, though. And the eyelashes seem to be a bit rushed. They're a bit too up and down. But it's a good eye study!

Oooooh yes, this is the best! I can't quite remember how it was...does a bright light make the pupil smaller, or does in enlarge it...but I think it's possible for a pupil to be that small. And if not, it at least makes it a helluva spooky one, then! Hafta agree with the comment above, the green shading is really nice, plus the glow makes the eye look real. Oh, how I'd like to see the rest of the face!-- Great work!

pupils go smaller when it's very bright, thats why this eye seems to belong to a person who has just seen a strong light. the funny thing with the eyes, also, is that whenever you look at for example a person you like or are interested in, your pupils automatically become larger. according to that, this person doesn't like or is afraid of what she/he sees at the moment.

Eyes are the window into the soul. It is that reason why I myself but so much emphasis on them when drawing. I suggest that you enlarge the light reflection a littl eand overlap it on the pupil some to give it and extra hint of realism ^-^
V.K.'s comment: Thanks! I'll try that next time!

The pupil is kind of small, it gives a drugged look.Nice green though.

The green eye needs to be a darker green around the pupil. Good job you dont think that the whole iris is shown like it was scared. Love the green you used. Love the impression of looking up, like there was a huge griffin soaring across the sky. Lovely work! ^_^

I LOVE IT.You put so much skill into your work. Your great at drawing. The only thing is that i think you should have made the center a little-bit bigger.

It is staring at me... Into my soul... Can't move... Hypnotized...

But seriously, awesome, keep it up.
