This was the final piece I did for the birthstone angels... January's stone is the Garnet.

Okay I am tired of repeating this, so I am putting it up on each of the angels. There is no ONE true birthstone list. There are many many many different ones. For the most part they are consistant, but there are often different stones. I used a professional Jewelers list from out here in Utah, simply because I wanted people to be able to buy boththe angel and the birthstone ring that accompanies it, and have the stones be the same. So I don't want to hear any more comments about this not being the 'right' stone for the month. Look into it, you will be surprised at the number of variations,

This angel looks more like a vampire thanan angel..the top and the teeth..it's not like she's not beautiful, its just that out fit doesn't really go with angel, unless she's fallen, which you didn't specify. But she is beautiful. I havn't seemed to find a November one, which is my birthday month....and you seem to be getting a few requests for that month. I would like to see a November Angel too...

As I stumble awestruck through the talented galleries,there are lots of things I like. I have emailed several artists to see if they would mind me using the IDEA of their pictures and they have all been wonderful.I make cloth doll fairies, pixies and elves, so I look for headdress,wing face ideas etc.I am rubbish at these things,so it is nice to see how it,s done.I have learned to LOOK at the "how" much better. your pics are wonderfull and very peacefull to look at.well done. pat, england.
